Let's talk about the Mayflower's fashion scene. I mean, did you see those Pilgrim outfits? They're like the original hipsters. Buckles on the shoes, giant belt buckles—did they have a secret meeting and decide, "Let's accessorize like we're going to a Thanksgiving-themed party every day"? And those hats! I'm convinced they wore those pointy hats just to have extra storage space. "Hold on, let me put my snacks in my hat. Gotta be prepared for this long, turbulent boat ride."
Can you imagine if the Mayflower set sail today? Fashion critics would have a field day. "The Pilgrims are making a bold statement with their minimalist black and white ensembles, accessorized with buckles that say, 'I was a trendsetter in 1620.'

So, the Mayflower didn't have GPS, obviously. I can imagine them arguing about directions. "Turn left at that iceberg!"
"No, it's a rock! Turn right!"
And trying to ask for directions from the locals when they finally reached land.
"Excuse me, Native Americans, do you know how to get to Plymouth Rock?"
"Um, you're standing on it."
Talk about a navigation fail. I bet if Waze existed back then, the Pilgrims would have been the first to get the "Recalculating" treatment.
"Waze: In 500 feet, turn left... into the Atlantic Ocean. Recalculating.

You know, I was thinking about the Mayflower recently. You remember the Mayflower, right? That's the ship that brought the Pilgrims to America. I bet when they set sail, they had this grand vision of a new world, freedom, and prosperity. But let me tell you, if they had Yelp back then, I'm pretty sure the Mayflower would have had some terrible reviews. "Yeah, the journey was a bit rocky, literally. Five stars for the scenic views, but can we talk about the lack of Wi-Fi? I had to entertain myself by counting seagulls!"
And imagine being on that ship for months with a bunch of people you barely knew. I can picture the Pilgrims trying to avoid each other like it's a floating family Thanksgiving dinner.
"Hey, Miles, can you pass the turkey?"
"We're on a ship, Priscilla. We don't have turkey. Just salted meat and hardtack."
"Oh, how I long for the days of DoorDash and soft bread.

Can you imagine the Mayflower's tech support? It's not like they could call customer service. "Hello, Mayflower tech support, how can I help you?"
"Yeah, my Wi-Fi is not working, and the ship keeps buffering."
"Sir, this is 1620. We don't have Wi-Fi. And by buffering, do you mean the turbulent waves of the Atlantic Ocean?"
"And the ship's wheel is making this weird noise."
"Have you tried turning it off and on again?"
"I can't turn off the ocean, genius!"
Ah, the struggles of the Mayflower—where "smooth sailing" was just a distant dream.
